While back in my hometown of Cincinnati during the holidays I came across a furry coat that immediately caught my eye. BCBG Max Azria had just gotten in a shipment of “BCBG Paris” pieces, one of which is this dramatic number right here.

In the dressing room my sister told me I looked like a pimp…and after some honest reflection, I knew she was right. But that’s because I was in an Ohio mall of all places–of course I was coming off like a Dej Loaf aspirant. However, upon returning to New York City, I knew the reception would be different. More importantly, I knew the “feeling” that it’d give me walking the streets of the city as though life was one big dress-up party. Therefore, in deciding to create this blog, where I visually share with you the person I’ve become and am evolving into, I thought “why not start with that grey, white, lavenderish furry coat?”
